After a long summer of kicking camps, several kickers, punters and long snappers had solid results at National Camp Series (NCS) events all across the continent in hopes of carrying their performances into the football season.

High School Specialists from all over the country put up impressive numbers which should help to land them on college radars. Husted says that by utilizing its Kicking IndeX (KIX) Player Rating System, NCS provides an objective evaluation platform for student-athletes who want to showcase their capabilities to colleges and universities for recruiting purposes.

By sorting through over six years of historical event data, the KIX system determines a kicker’s rankings by cross-referencing player data to determine how the athletes stack up against others, both presently and historically.

"The NCS levels the playing field for those who don't want to get caught up in all of the 'politics' that occurs in the kicking industry,” says Husted. “If you can kick, punt or snap, the NCS KIX system will let a young kicking specialist’s skills speak for themselves. No excuses. No explanations."

Top Tier All American Tampa Camp Recap

Coach Feely and Coach Husby are very excited and happy after the completion of their 2nd Top Tier All American Tryout and Camp held on July 28 & 29, 2012 at new Larry Sanders Sports Complex in Progress Village, FL.

16 talented specialists attended, ready to improve and compete for a spot on the Top Tier All American Watch list.

The weather was hot. We had some great expert seminars from Velocity and Gatorade, that spoke about Training, as well as a college recruiting seminar. Pastor Ron Ellis was on hand and runs B.A.M. out of Tampa, Florida. He was an excellent motivational speaker that helpped our kickers, punters and snappers improve on their focus & better prepare on the mental side of the game. We also had great instructors help at the camp in Coach Tyler Feely, Rueben Hernandez, and a number of other great coaches.

We also had a great Coaches Clinic on Special Teams held by 18 year Former NFL Special Teams Coach Mike Stock. Who also helped offered his professional expertise & instruction to all of our specialists.

Top Tier All American Tryout and Camp- Tampa, FL- July 28-29

Feely Athletics and Special Teams Football Academy Host is second Top Tier All American Try Outs and Camp on July 28th and 29th, 2012 in the Tampa, Florida Area.

Athletes get expert training and also get valuable classroom video training, information on collegiate recruiting, nutrition, weight training and many other aspects of special teams. Coach Mike Stock, an 18 year coaching veteran in the NFL will provide a Special Teams Coaches Clinic as a coaches training aspect of the Top Tier Camp experience during the 2 day event.

Feely Athletics and Special Teams Football Academy recently held the first Top Tier All American Try Outs and Camp on July 7th and 8th, 2012 in St Paul, MN and according to Coach Chris Husby who conducted the St. Paul, MN camp with Coach Tom Feely, "That camp was a huge success receiving high praise for the total package of instruction and All American evaluation." (Results and photos of that event can be viewed here).

The Florida camp is the second of two Top Tier All American Kicking Camps to be held in July. This Top Tier camp will be held July 28th and 29th at the new Larry Sanders Sports Complex in Progress Village, FL. It is a 2 day event held on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM- 6 PM, that will include Evaluation and Instructional Sessions. "I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Top Tier All American Kicking Camp,” says Husby. “Not only will the athletes get expert training, but they will also get valuable, classroom video training, information on collegiate recruiting, nutrition, weight training and many other aspects of special teams.”

Coach Feely runs, Feely Athletics, studied Sports Psychology under the famous Dr. Robert Singer and Dr. David Pargman while pursuing his Doctorate in the field of Sports Psychology. Feely focused his research on the power of mental imagery and factors producing “mental toughness.” In January of 2007, Feely earned National Board Certification. He is the only Nationally Board Certified Teacher working in the kicking coaching industry.

Coach Husby owns and runs Special Teams Football Academy. He is a professional kicking, punting and snapping instructor and a former NFL Free Agent Specialists of six years. He trains athletes in an area that spans from the Midwest, Canada and various international countries. Husby says he and Feely are trying to create the ‘complete’ kicking camp where young kicking specialists leave at the end of the camp feeling that there is no better kicking camp available for them to attend.

"This is one of a few camps out there dedicated to training Punt Returners and Kick Returners along with Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers. We really want to bring the complete package and work on special teams as a unit," Says Tom Feely.

He adds what the camper get extends beyond the camp itself through the NCS KIX evaluation system.

“Specialists will get a chance to get evaluated and charted using the NCS KIX System,” says Husby. “And they can also qualify for the Exclusive Top Tier All American Watch List for specialists at the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes, which will be promoted heavily to college coaches at every level of football."

Jay Feely, son of Tom Feely and kicker for the Arizona Cardinals, says this is an excellent camp for young kicking specialists, and for kicking coaches, to attend. "The Top Tier All American Camp is a unique, legitimate, objective way for a Special Teams player to showcase their skills & achieve All American status if they prove deserving,” says Jay Feely. “The camp is run by the best in the business. Tom Feely (my dad), who has joined forces with one of the great NFL Special Team coaches, Mike Stock.” Jay Feely says Coach Stock is conducting Special Teams coaching clinics, while all the coaches will be evaluating and teaching kickers, punters, long snappers and returners throughout this event.

Top Tier All American St Paul Camp Recap

Coach Feely and Coach Husby are very excited and happy after the completion of their 1st ever Top Tier All American Tryout and Camp held on July 7 & 8, 2012 at the University of St Thomas in St Paul, MN.

16 talented specialists attended, all of which were very polished specialists and have been well trained. We had some very exceptional specialists that really stood out.

The weather was perfect. We had some great expert seminars from Velocity and NCSA that spoke about Training and Collegiate Recruiting. Pastor Ron Ellis was on hand and runs B.A.M. out of Florida. He was an excellent motivational speaker that helpped our kickers, punters and snappers improve on their focus & better prepare on the mental side of the game. We also had great instructors help at the camp in Coach Jordan Wettstein, Ryan Coleman, & Lucas Weiss.

Coaches Clinic- Tampa, Florida- July 28-29, 2012

Top Tier All American Tryouts & Kicking Camps will be running a 2 Day Coaches Clinic on Special Teams, in Tampa, Florida on July 28 & 29, 2012. Coaches of all levels are invited to attend.

Coach Mike Stock (a former 18 year NFL Special Teams Coach with 45 overall years coaching experience) will be running a 2 day (morning sessions) Coaches Clinic on Special Teams and also offering Instructing to Kick and Punt Returners at the Top Tier All American Camps on July 28th & 29th in Tampa, FL.

Tampa's coaches camp will be held at the Larry Sanders Sports Complex in Progress Village, a suburb of Tampa, Florida.

The Special Teams Coaches Clinic will cover all six segments, in great detail, of that particular phase of the game.
They include as follows:
- PUNT PROTECTION and COVERAGE (including Gunner work)
- PUNT RETURN and BLOCK (including Bracket work and Punt Returner specifics)
- KO COVERAGE
- KO RETURN (Returner specifics)
- PAT/FG PROTECTION
- PAT/FG BLOCK.

Following his instruction of each phase, he'll have video to further reinforce the initial teaching principles. As we complete each component, we'll also include drills (as they pertain to each individually) to help emphasize the details which should further aid you to gain success in each of the areas that will be covered. Benefits of our Top Tier All American Kicking Camp

Thank you for your interest in attending our Top Tier All American Tryout & Kicking Camp. The Top Tier All American Camps will be held on July 7th & 8th in St Paul, MN and July 28th & 29th in Tampa, FL.

This camp is open to Kickers, Punters, Long Snappers, and Punt & Kick Returners. Our two camps will be 2 days of Instruction, Drill Work and Evaluation.

Our morning sessions will be player evaluations for Kickers, Punters, Long Snappers and Punt & Kick Returners.
Our afternoon sessions will include instruction, drill work, competition and great seminars.

The Evaluations are for High School Athletes, so interested College and Middle School Specialists should register for the Afternoon "Instruction Only" sections of the camp.

Athletes that chart very well will have the opportunity to be listed on the
Top Tier All American Watch List for Specialists. There will be a Watch List for all 4 High School Classes: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. If your child qualifies for the Watch List, we'll be highly promoting these students to colleges of all levels. During the football season, we'll track game stats, and at the end of the year announce of Top Tier All American Finalists. It's a great opportunity for collegiate exposure for High School Athletes.
